Our Beautiful Kitchen

The kitchen has been completed and all of the appliances have been installed. The floor has been stained since these pictures were taken, but we will post those later this week.
The dishwasher is stainless steel - there is white plastic on the front right now
Our kitchen table will go under the light that is hanging down
The fridge and island

Major Upgrades!

A lot has changed with the house this week. All the cabinets have been installed and all of the lights and switches are up too. The speakers for surround sound in the basement have been installed and all of the bathroom counter tops are in place. Most important... We now have a kitchen!
Our new home has lights and our house number up!
This is the other side of the pass through window between the kitchen and dining room. It's a desk on the kitchen side

Lights and Bathrooms!

We have railings and they will put in the rest of the banister soon
Downstairs powder room (without a toilet)
Master bath counter, we have a space for a vanity seat... 2 sinks, yeah!
Basement bathroom
Master bath lights, this is also where the mirror will go.

We Have a Kitchen!

This is the pass through window from the kitchen to the dining room
Here is our kitchen and island! The dish washer will go to the left and the stove will go to the right
Our fireplace! We chose to have a stone fireplace that matches the stone outside rather than brick. Above the fireplace is a TV niche.
Another view of the kitchen. We will have stainless steel appliances, so the three diamonds in the middle of the island will match that. Our fridge will go to the right and the open door is the pantry. The open space to the left will be where our stove and microwave go.
This is our dining room chandileer!

Stay Warm in the Cold

It's getting cold outside, better bundle up with some knit sweaters!
Our little Abercrombie model...
Yesterday was a trip to Denver and the boys liked to take a nap on the back seat I love to take naps upside down on my basketball pillow (with my sweater on)
I think it's more comfortable if I just sit on top of my brother
The boys get anxious while we are away, so they sit and keep watch until we come back

Tile, tile, tile...

All of the tile has been laid on the bathroom floors and walls as well as the laundry room. The floor looks very dirty because they hadn't cleaned it off since they put in the grout.
Basement bathroom
Powder and laundry - main level
Upstairs guest bath
Basement shower.
More pics to come... master bath!

More House...

All of the hard wood has been laid on the main level, but they will wait until almost everything is done before they stain it - for now the floor looks very light. This picture is better than the one from last week.

The House is Painted!

These pictures aren't great because it was snowing and it was getting darker. The interior and exterior are completely painted, but we didn't take any interior pictures - it was too dark.
You can kind of see Elizabeth there in her snow suit!
Look how hard it was snowing...

Dogs Love Snow

Dutch didn't want to come in from outside, he would rather stay and get all frosty
Dutch taking it all in...
Chasing eachother through the fresh snow!
The doggies with Elizabeth in front of the new house!
Craig gave Dutch a bath and when Dutch got out, he was very cold... So he slept in his bed with a cover on top!
