The Broadmoor

Took a little trip out to The Broadmoor with CarmEd for the day. The lake there is beautiful this time of year!

The Broadmoor

CarmEd made a visit to CO last weekend and we took a little trip to the Broadmoor!

The Grass is Greener

So we had some issues with the grass in the front and backyard, but after some colarboration with the Gunder-rents (had to fix the sprinklers) and then a large water bill, we once again have some beautiful grass.

Cheyenne Frontier Days

We went to Frontier Days last weekend and had a blast! We saw Gretchen Wilson, Big & Rich and Def Leopard in concert - they were all amazing. We made sure to dress country so that we fit in...

Rodeo

The Cheyenne Frontier Days rodeo is called "The daddy of them all." We didn't see all of the events, but we saw enough men fall off bulls for one day. The last event was a race with teams of three to hold, saddle and ride a wild horse all the way around the track. The first to cross the finish line wins. These horses were taken from the middle of no where and they had supposedly never seen humans before. So they were quite wild and were going absolutely crazy. The first two photos are from the regular part of the rodeo, the last few were from the three-man horse race...

Got on the wild horse, now can he stay on?
Wild horses on the loose! These ones got away from the teams and were running free.
